About the mouse adapter

The Assistive Mouse Adapter (AMA) is connected between a standard mouse and either a PS/2 or USB mouse port to provide assistance to users with neuro-motor difficulties.   The AMA is powered by the mouse port eliminating the need for a separate power supply.  Assistive functions on the AMA include reduced cursor tremor, reduction of unintended mouse – button clicks, and relaxed double – clicking.   The AMA output obeys standard PS/2 and USB protocol, thus the device operates with all operating systems.   Individual features can be enabled, disabled, and adjusted to suit the user’s needs, using large knobs and switches.   A single switch disables all features for shared operation of a PC.

Note.   If your computer has a USB port it will be necessary to use a compatible PS/2 to USB converter which is available from Montrose Secam (see payment page).
