| 3. Connecting to laptop computers
The built-in pointing device in many laptop computers will interfere with the Assistive Adapter if you plug it into the laptop's PS2 port. Instead, use the laptop's USB port. You will need a PS2-to-USB converter from Montrose-Secam. |

| 5. To use the Assistive Mouse Adpter Features
1. Flip the switch labeled "Assistance" to the On position. 2. Cursor Jitter: Turn the knob labeled Filter Setting clockwise from zero to reduce jitter. The mouse will become sluggish, so pick the lowest setting which works for you. 3. Unintended mouse button clicks: Flip the switch labeled Double Click to Low or High. This will allow much more time and motion between the two clicks. Try the low position first. Note: It is difficult to use both the Time Delay feature and the Double Click feature at the same time. |
